Men's Basketball Upsets No. 1 Northwood in Conference Tournament Finale

On February26, 2011, the Embry-Riddle men's basketball team entered the championship game of The Sun Conference tournament as the tournament's No. 2 seed and the seventh-ranked team in the nation. The Eagles face a daunting challenge, taking on top-ranked Northwood on the Seahawks' home floor in the tournament finale. Led by tournament MVP David Butler's 18 points and 10 rebounds, the Eagles upset the tournament favorites to win the title and advance to the NAIA National Championship.
