ERAU Men's Soccer Upsets No. 1 Lindsey Wilson at NAIA National Tournament
In 2003, the Embry-Riddle men's soccer team rose to national prominence, thanks in large part to an upset of top-ranked NAIA power Lindsey Wilson in the second round of the NAIA National Tournament. After outscoring their opponents 9-0 leading up to the match against the Blue Raiders, the Eagles fell behind 2-0 early in the contest, but rebounded with a late first-half score and three more in the second to topple the six-time national champions and advance to the quarterfinals for the first time in program history.
