Mislav Hizak - Four-Time National Champion in Men's Tennis
Mislav Hizak joined the men's tennis program in January 2005 and immediately established himself as a force to be reckoned with. He graduated from Embry-Riddle in 2008 as the most decorated and successful player in ERAU tennis history. His storied collegiate career included three ITA/NAIA national titles and three ITA Super Bowl titles in singles and doubles. Hizak posted a 107-6 career singles record in three and a half seasons wearing the Blue and Gold, including a perfect record against NAIA opponents of 60-0. He racked up multiple honors throughout his career, including being named an ESPN The Magazine first team Academic All-American in 2007 and 2008. He was a three-time first team All-American, was the conference and regional Player of the Year three times and a two-time NAIA All-America Scholar Athlete. A two-time recipient of Embry-Riddle's Champions of Character Scholarship, Hizak closed out his career as the ITA/NAIA Senior Player of the Year and was the recipient of the prestigious NAIA Dr. Leroy Walker Champions of Character Award.
