Sam Vazquez Competes in 2012 Olympics

In the summer of 2012 Sam Vazquez, a letterwinner on Embry-Riddle's cross country and track and field teams, became the first ERAU alumnus to compete in the Olympics. Vasquez, who hails from Palm Coast, Fla., competed in the 1,500m run under the flag of his grandparents' homeland, Puerto Rico.
