DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle women's track and field team delivered an impressive performance at the inaugural Sunshine State Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships, earning second place overall with 144 points. The Eagles walked away with five gold medals and three new entries in the ERAU all-time top 10 performance list, capping off a memorable championship.
 
Championship performances: 
	- Shenya Patrice-O'Connell – Patrice-O'Connell sprinted her way to double gold, clocking 12.06 in the 100m (10th fastest in ERAU history) and setting a new personal best of 24.98 in the 200m (8th fastest in program history).
- Taylor Roth – Keeping her dominance in the 800m, Roth secured the gold medal with 2:15.07.
- Emily Tubbs – The freshman claimed a commanding victory in the 3000m steeplechase, finishing in 11:20.02, winning by over eight seconds. Her time also ranks 6th all-time at ERAU.
-  4x100 relay – The team of Michala Daniels, O'Connell, Kylie Davis and Liora C. Best secured the gold as they out ran the competition with 47.63.
