Biography
2025: INDOOR: Competed in four meets... she ran a PB in 60m hurdles at the Peach Belt Conference Championship (Feb. 17) winning gold. OUTDOOR: Competed in five meets... won second in the 100m hurdles at the Embry-Riddle Eagle Invite (Mar. 8).
2024: OUTDOOR: Competed in six meets…ran a personal-best time of 13.71 in the 100 at the Embry-Riddle Blue and Gold Meet (March 2)…won gold in the 100m hurdles at the Peach Belt Conference Track & Field Championships (April 29-30).
2022-23: Competed in five meets…earned silver in the 100m hurdles (15.75) at the Peach Belt Conference Track & Field Championships (April 20-21).
2021-22: OUTDOOR: Competed in four meets… ran a career-best 29.11 in the 200m at the Black & Gold Invite (March 18-19)…took home bronze in the 100m hurdles with a time of 15.39 at the Peach Belt Conference Championships (April 22-23).
2020-21: OUTDOOR: Competed in five meets…opened the season with personal best performances in the triple jump (5.49m (18-0.25)) and the long jump (10.67m (35-0.25)) at the ERAU First Chance Last Chance meet (Feb. 20)…the best high jump performance of her career of 1.42m (4-7.75) came at the Embry-Riddle Eagle Invite (March 6)…crossed the line in second place in a personal best time of 14.98 in the 100m hurdles at the Blue and Gold Invite (March 20).
2019-20: INDOOR: Competed in seven meets…posted ERAU season-best marks in the 60m hurdles and the long jump with a 9.09 in the hurdles at the South Carolina Invitation (Feb. 7-8) and a leap of 4.69m (15-4.75) at the BSC Panther Indoor Icebreaker (Dec. 6)…placed sixth with a PR of 9.09 in the 60m hurdles at the South Carolina Invitational (Feb. 7-8).
Prep: 2019 graduate of Brooke Point High School…recorded PRs of 17 feet 10 inches in the long jump and 36 feet six inches in the triple jump…posted personal best times of 15.32 in the high hurdles and 47.57 in the 300m hurdles…four-time All-Region selection…recipient of the Coach’s Award…team captain…National Honor Society…IB Diploma.
Personal: Born in Killeen, Texas…parents are Dejaun and Alicia Saunders…majoring in Meteorology.
